Pure Heart February

Welcome to the month of love β€οΈο˜‚.
I’m sorry this post is just going up now. Honestly, your girl has been lazy, but laziness won’t write this post for me πŸ˜©πŸ˜‚ so here I am.
Have you ever done something absolutely amazing just for the applause? Traded the why for the applause?
I mean, have you done something that is morally good and right just so people could pat you on the back? Gather round let’s take a selfie to document this moment because we won’t be doing so anymore.
Motive is so so important. The reason behind the why!
I remember when I first started blogging and writing, I was just doing it for the sheer love of it and just to talk about things I was interested in and passionate about.
After about a year, my why deviated. I was so concerned with the shares, likes, number of views πŸ˜ͺ. When I would get views that were “supposedly poor” , I would feel like I was failing. That was one of the reasons I diversified my content on nnewrites.blogspot.com and stopped putting up my usual stories because I felt other things would get me more views than stories. Lewl πŸ˜—πŸ˜‚, but see us now…. Now, it’s important that people are able to view content that you put out so it can also bless them, but when the views and comments are solely behind your why, you might find yourself constantly burnt out or feeling unsatisfied. This also goes for anything we’ve decided to do as people. If the applause becomes the only reason why you’re doing something, the applause will never be loud enough, and the days the applause won’t come, the lack of it will claw at you like an insistent sore throat. It’s not a bad thing that people applaud you for the good you’re doing, but don’t let it become your why. Re evaluate your motive and why today. Do things for the sheer love of it, share your content loudly and boldly too, but don’t let the applause be your why darling πŸ€—. Pure heart February dears πŸ’›.
Happy Valentine’s day in advance to single pringles like me, the rest of you can collect yours from your babes 😩❀️..
